Edward Grabowski - Master Stylist

I am a highly trained national color concept educator and platform artist offering 15+ years of excellence
When I was 18 years old, living in Philadelphia, I decided to go into the hair industry so I could utilize my passion for art and design and be able to apply it to everyday life.
I have always thought it is extremely important to not only use my own knowledge and expertise to create individual looks for each client but to listen to their visions, ideas and goals so we can marry them together for the best possible outcome.
Training is the most important foundation to a stylists’ career and I have been lucky to have been trained by some of the best in the industry including being privately trained by Phillip Wilson, the inventor of alternative hair-cutting and Jennifer McDougall: Winner of 2003 NAHA.
I have worked in several different areas of the hair industry including being a national color educator for L’Oreal where I traveled to salons around the country teaching L’Oreal’s as well as my own personal techniques for creating, mixing and applying color. I have also been a platform artist where I’ve traveled state to state and performed hair cutting and coloring techniques at trade shows for large audiences.
Coming to Douglas Carroll Salon has just reinforced my reason for going into this profession, I have the honor of working with a great team of stylists who all inspire each other and I am able to grow and continue to learn, which is the most important thing a stylist can do to stay on top of current trends and techniques. I look forward to the future and continuing to work in an industry I am truly passionate about.
